If your Firestick remote is not working, you will not be able to control your Firestick device, which means you won’t be able to control volume, change channels ot browse the interface. This can be a real inconvenience, especially if you’re in the middle of watching a movie or TV show.
You also won’t be able to access your favorite content or apps. That’s a real pain if you want to sit down on a couch and relax with your favorite series.
Check the batteries: The first step is to make sure the batteries in your Firestick remote are not dead. If the batteries are dead, replace them with new ones.
Restart Firestick: Unplug the Firestick from the power source and plug it back in after 30 seconds. This will restart the device and may fix the remote problem.
Pair the remote with the Firestick: If restarting the Firestick did not work, try pairing the remote with the device again.
